The Summer of the Mathematics of Plants - The end of June is when educators look forward to summer vacation. However, still going full steam ahead, a dedicated group of third and fourth grade educators from school districts in northern New Jersey jumped on the math/science bandwagon. PRISM Field Experience in Belize - A group of 24 traveled for 11 days of field experiences in tropical reefs, Mayan ruins and wet forest. e-CUSP Fan Notes - Read what participants had to say! Jump into Plants and Math! - In keeping with our plant theme, these activities can engage students in the study of plants in your own classroom. We Were Busy this Summer! - The PRISM staff presented six summer programs in mathematics and science for 175 teachers from 24 school districts and 85 students from Passaic. |
